The confluence  of Bhagirathi  and Alaknanda river at Devprayag forms the mainstream the Ganges. The Bhagirathi is the source stream it rises at the foot of Gangotri gleciar  at Gaumukh, at an elevation of 3,892 m (12,769 ft). The headwaters of the Alaknanda are formed by snow melt from such peaks as Nandadevi, Trishul, and Kamet.

After flowing 200 km through its narrow Himalayan valley, the Ganges debouches on the Gangatic plane at the pilgrimage town of Haridwar.

Our three days trip starts right from the confluence till all the way Rishikesh of 90 km  through a beautiful gorge and scenic float to down stream takes you through a thrilling white water journey.

Itinerary -

Day 01 : Before we start you re-pack your bags into a river trip dry bag and leave all belongings which you do not need on the trip at our base.

We leave from Rishikesh after breakfast at 9:30am towards the start point, it's a 90 km drive along the river  which takes 2 hours, we prepare the boats and pack all our bags and gear on the gear boat meanwhile you have pack lunch box to eat,  after a complete safety briefing we start to float down stream and around 2 hours of floating easy class II section we reach to a very isolated beach and set up the camp for the night stay. We all help together to find some fire wood and preparation for the dinner and there are nice hikes around the camp site, enjoy rest of the afternoon with volleyball and other beach games after dinner enjoy the bonfire and star watching and trip leader will discuss the programme for the next day.

Day 02 : After breakfast we pack up the camp and  helping guides for loading the gear boat then we start our day with easy white water and reach Kodiyala for the lunch time, we got out first class III rapid called Daniel's dip we decide for lunch spot either above the rapid or below the rapid, after lunch we  continue to our next camp which is just above the biggest rapid called The Wall, set up the camp and enjoy the evening with delicious meal and open sky on the beach.

Day 03 : After breakfast we pack up the camp and load the gear boat and see out way down The wall, a long day on the river with plenty of class II and III. We stop at  shivpuri for lunch and continue to Rishikesh.

We reach at Rishikesh around 4pm and take a quick ride to our base, get changed and collect you belongings then we drop you in hotel or train station.
